What Is
Electrolysis?
 |
Electrolysis is the science of permanent hair
removal utilizing only needle/probe devices, developed in 1875 by
Dr. Charles Michael. A fine, sterile needle is inserted into the
hair follicle and a small amount of electrical energy is
discharged, destroying the hair growth tissue. When completely and
skillfully achieved, the regeneration ability of the hair follicle
is permanently eliminated. Well-qualified practitioners using
state-of-the-art, equipment and up-to-date sterilization procedures
perform today's electrolysis. It has continued to evolve and
advance as the most effective method of hair removal. A series of
treatments over a period of time are necessary to accomplish
permanent results. Treatments vary with each person. |
Who Can Use Electrolysis? Unwanted hair problems are a cause for embarrassment and can alter
your lifestyle. Whether it's a cosmetic problem or a symptom of a
disease, it can be removed effectively. We treat women, men, youth,
and ethnic skin. Temporary shaving, tweezing, depilatories, waxing,
and threading contribute to an increase in hair growth. These are
time consuming and can cause skin irritations, ingrown hairs,
discoloration, and scarring. Despite all the methods from claims of
many on the market today, not one has been proven to be as
effective as electrolysis. |
